Houseboat summary

Close to Central Station you will find the Amsterdam Bed & Breakfasthouseboat MS Luctor, exclusively suitable for two persons. An original "klipperaak", built in 1913, now converted into a comfortable, stylish and high class apartment, moored on one of the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam, with a splendid view.

Houseboat description

TThe B&B accommodation in this romantic houseboat is one apartment with three rooms. From the steering cabin you enter the deckhouse, with an internet connection, TV, coffee and tea, and the shower and toilet. Three steps down you descend into the captain hut. An intimate but surprisingly spacious bedroom with a double bed. Weather permitting we serve your terrific breakfast on the large jetty. How would it feel, to stay on a houseboot? Check out our reviews to get the best possible impression!

We have two bicycles waiting for you to get around in Amsterdam, but why not take our Canadian canoe to explore the canals. It's great fun!(And it contributes to the green, environmental responsable way we run our ship, with solar energy, organic products, to mention just a few...)

    A magical place, amazing houseboat

I love boats so this was a magical place for me to spend the night. I felt at home. Flip is a great guy and the breakfast is wonderful. I'll make sure to book again when I'm back in Amsterdam!

Unique experience such a houseboat! Show original

For us the accommodation was excellent, but for large people it can sometimes be difficult.Quiet location, free bicycles, excellent breakfast and a unique experience to stay on an Amsterdam houseboat.

    Just delightful!

Ms Luctor was such a lovely place for us to stay for our time in Amsterdam! It’s a very cute, cozy place in a really great location. Flip was a phenomenal host and the breakfast each day was delicious and abundant—a great way to start each day of exploring. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this boat to anyone.

Cosy and quirky houseboat - located perfect!

MS Luctor is an amazing, lovely, cosy and quirky houseboat in a fantastic central but peaceful location. Way better than staying at a hotel.Hope to stay again soon. Flip was an amazing host who couldn't do enough for us. Great coffee machine and the breakfast was lovely too. The weather was cold but the boat very warm and comfortable. I loved everything about my stay, just wish it had been for longer and we had managed to make use of the bikes. 10/10 for everything.
